| Where to Get Flyers and Posters |
All the locations below have been re-stocked with the new 8.5 x 11 and half
page (5.5 x 8) flyers. Some locations, especially CAMP, still have lots of
11 x 17s. Help yourselves. Anyone who takes the last of the flyers in any
location please email so we can re-stock again.
1. University Friends Meeting Hall, 4001 9th Ave. NE, Seattle in the University District.
Hours: anytime. This is the church upstairs from the American Friends Service Committee.
The posters will be outside in the courtyard you enter from 9th Ave. Look to the right under the roof (in case of rain). Pickup anytime.
Directions: E from NE 45th St exit from I-5 to Roosevelt Av; S on Roosevelt to the last little street just barely before you cross the Roosevelt Bridge; W 1 block to 9th Av NE.
2. Central Area Motivation Project (CAMP), 722 18th Av, Seattle in the Central District.
Hours 9-5, but often open evenings for meetings. Call 206-812-4940 for open hours.
Directions: E on James St from I-5 (James becomes Cherry); N on 17th Av 1 block; E on Columbia 1 block; S on 18th Av to parking lot, about 30 feet. CAMP looks like and is a former fire station.
3. Majority Visibility Project Office, 915 W Blaine
West slope of Queen Anne Hill, approach from 10 Ave W. Flyers on porch in plastic case, P/U anytime.
4. Sound Non-violent Opponents of War office, 225 N 70th St
Call 789-2684 to make sure someone is there. CLOSED THE WEEKEND OF MARCH 5-6, PLEASE SEE #6 BELOW
5. 1225 S. Trenton St
South Park neighborhood, approach from 14th Ave S, flyers on porch, P/U anytime.
6. NEW LOCATION. NE corner of N 128th and Meridian Av.
P/U on porch facing N 128th. Gate is on the side, reach over top of gate to unlatch.
Easiest directions: 130th St, go one longish block S and you're there. P/U Anytime.
There will be flyers at the Tuesday night coalition meeting at AFSC, 814 NE 40th St in the University district.
