The Interfaith Memorial Service
will be meditative in nature.
Following songs by the
Children's Peace Choir, names
of American and Iraqi people
who have died in the war over
the past war will be
continuously read. This reading
will be punctuated by chanted
prayers in Hebrew, Arabic,
and English.

The World Against the War on Iraq!
What is it?
A global day of protest on the one-year anniversary of the Iraq War.
Where and When?
March 20th at these times and places:
  • 10:30am - Workshops begin at at Seattle First Baptist Church,
        1111 Harvard Avenue (Corner of Harvard Ave. and Seneca St.
        on First Hill in Seattle)
  • 11:00am - Memorial Interfaith Service at First Bapist Church
  • Noon - March, gather at Harvard & Seneca
  • 1:00 - 2:30pm - Rally at Pier 62/63 (Alaskan Way & Pine).
        Special speaker Ed Asner.


  • There are a limited number of literature tables available on the pier which can be reserved by ENDORSING organizations. E-mail m20_logistics@jvaoseattle.org by 5PM on 3/19 to reserve a table and for further instructions.
    Help get the word out!
    Pick up or print out flyers and post them around your neighborhood, at work, EVERYWHERE!

    On SAT MARCH 20 the 99 viaduct will be closed, compounding traffic congestion due to the NCAA games at Seattle Center. Take the bus to the start of the day's events at First Baptist!
